Melissa Bogner
Melissa Bogner, a 12-year Dublin resident, is an active volunteer with the Dublin City Schools (DCS) and the City of Dublin. Through her involvement with the schools and city, Melissa has developed great respect for how the forward-thinking approach of our leaders, community members, and teachers impact the youngest learners, our children. Since the greater Dublin community supports our local school district, she believes it not only strengthens the educational system, but creates an exceptional place to live, work, and raise a family. Melissa is continually impressed with how innovative and flexible the DCS staff confronts educational challenges and adapts to the ever-changing needs of our students as society evolves.
Expanding her involvement and leadership from her children’s elementary PTO Board, Melissa became a member of the Dublin Education Foundation Board in 2020 giving her the opportunity to serve the entire DCS district. She understands each individual school has its own unique character and culture, and how each positively contributes to building an outstanding educational school district.
Melissa is a graduate of Ohio University and spent 8 years in finance at Charles Schwab before deciding to stay home to care for her young children and become a community volunteer, advocate, and connector. She enjoys boating and snow skiing with her husband Joe and three children, Taylor, Carter, and Charlie, and hosting spontaneous backyard gatherings with extended family, friends, and neighbors.
